The LA Kings gave the Minnesota Wild a good ol’ hockey beatdown, spanking them 5-1 at the Xcel Energy Center. The Kings weren’t messing around, putting five goals on the board without breaking a sweat while the Wild could barely manage one measly goal. Trevor Lewis, that rascal, bagged two goals to really rub it in their faces. Youngster Quinton Byfield showed up like a beast, running circles around the Wild’s defense. Even the Kings’ goalie, Hiller, was on fire, stopping almost everything the Wild tossed his way.
