The Detroit Lions, being as generous as ever, gave defensive end Za’Darius Smith a mini bye week by blessing him with two days off. He’s been busting his tail all season with the Browns, and while his mates put their feet up, the Lions decided to play Santa Claus. Why not let the guy catch some Z’s, right? While everyone else is on vacation, Smith’s two-day break might not be the mansion on a beach, but hey – it’s something. Let’s just hope he comes back refreshed and ready to crush some quarterbacks.
