Alabama A&M linebacker Medrick Burnett Jr. is still in the hospital with a head injury from an October game, but at least he’s alive, which is more than what the school first blabbed. Initially, these amateur geniuses had us thinking Burnett was checking into the Pearly Gates Hotel, but turns out, the poor fella’s just in the hospital. You’d think they’d double-check before announcing someone was pushing up daisies! I mean, come on, have they never heard of a quick phone call? Either way, fingers crossed for Burnett’s recovery and hoping the suits at Alabama A&M get their act together.
