Thornton, the supposed hotshot from the Patriots, got the boot faster than you can say “you’re fired.” This dude was supposed to be the Patriots’ knight in shining armor but barely touched the grass. Now, the Kansas City Chiefs couldn’t resist the urge and snagged him right up. You gotta wonder if Thornton’s stuck in a time warp where he can’t get off the bench. Let’s hope he gets more action in Kansas City, or else he’ll be the Chiefs’ next “bencher of the year.”
